    My tire blew up on the Highway, and just made it to the place. They were very helpful and took me in. They even had to order the tires, since my VW is not the typical off-the-shelve one ... . The car got a sleep over, the tires came in, and everything worked out just fine.

    The way this dealership is run is how all dealerships should be run. It's highly unusual for a dealership to be this straightforward and transparent with regard to pricing, and even more unusual to not employ high-pressure sales tactics. As a woman who researches and shops for cars by herself, I've experienced less-than-ideal (and sometimes downright condescending) behaviors from car salesmen in the past and actively avoid those situations whenever I can. VW of San Francisco and Simon Calimlim in particular are outliers. I bought my first VW base Golf in 2019 from Simon, and it's because of him that I've come back again and again to VW of SF. When I wanted to switch out of my Mini Cooper S and get back into a GTI, I reached out to Simon. I didn't even consider reaching out to other VW dealerships because of my past experience with VW of SF. Going there to look physically look at the GTIs they have in stock further solidified that I made the right decision going with VW of SF. Simon, Artem, Yakov, and Sean were friendly, respectful, transparent, and helpful. I appreciated that I didn't have to spend half a day at the dealership playing the games most other dealerships play—there were no four squares with financing options or circles around random numbers. Just straightforward "Here's what we can give you pricing-wise, OTD. Here's what you get this with warranty add-on." I'll be sticking with VW of SF for future car purchases and leases just due to their sales team's approach alone.

    I dropped it off for a recall software update at 8am and was assured it would be finished and ready for pickup that afternoon. It was an entire week before I got my vehicle back, as there were a myriad of issues associated with loading the software into its system. The Van, which I use for work as a commercial vehicle for guided tours, was on your lot for an entire week in an unusable condition, during which time I lost out on several days of income due to the vehicle being inoperable.
